Afasic is the national charity representing children and young adults with speech and language impairments, working for their inclusion in society and supporting their parents and carers.

This year Afasic celebrates its 40th Birthday

As part of the celebrations, West Kent Afasic is holding a Family Party on Sunday 6th July 2008 at Mascalls Youth and Community Centre in Paddock Wood (next to Mascalls School). The party starts at 2pm and finishes at 5pm with a magic show from 2.30 to 3.30. Other attractions include a bouncy castle and a birthday tea.

We would like to make this a big family party and everyone is invited – mums, dads, siblings etc and any professionals involved with Afasic are very welcome to join us with their families.

For safety reasons (and because it is a family party) children must not be left unattended and are the responsibility of their parents at all times.

If you would like to join us please complete the RSVP to me either by email or phone before Monday 30th June.. If you would like any more information then please email or phone me. Also a photographer may be present so if you do not want your family to be photographed for Afasic publicity material please let me know on your RSVP, and remind me on the day. You may want to bring your own folding garden chairs.
