16 – 18 support in school 6^th form

2 groups of 8 children admitted in year 7. Some places available in other year groups.

Brief Description of Special Needs catered for

• Dyslexia
• Speech and Language Disorders
• Communication Difficulties (higher functioning Autistic Spectrum  Disorders such as Asperger’s Syndrome).

How Parents Obtain a Place

At present all children must have a statement. Contact the school for an initial visit. Choices must be made by the end of Year 5. Final selection by the LEA  in consultation with the Head of Unit.
